Peter Jarck Obituary
AGE: 16 • Rumson
Peter Carl "Pierce" Jarck, Jr., 16, devoted son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Pierce came into this world in December 2000. He was born in New York City and resided in Rumson, NJ.
Pierce was a junior at the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School. He was passionate about lacrosse and was a Long Stick Midfielder for the RFH Varsity Lacrosse team and NJ Riot. Pierce's contagious laugh, witty sense of humor and unparalleled loyalty made him a beloved leader and consummate teammate. When not on the field, Pierce loved surfing, weight-lifting, and he loved to cook and hang out with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving parents, Peter and Lori Jarck; his treasured sisters, Nicole and Kaitlin; his adoring grandparents, James and Kerry Jacobson and Klaus and Ingrid Eifert and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Navesink Country Club, 50 Luffburrow Lane, Middletown, NJ, on Friday, October 20th at 1:30 p.m. A celebration of Pierce's life will immediately follow the service.
The Thompson Memorial Home in Red Bank has been entrusted with the arrangements. Dear Jarck Family,
I attended Forrestdale Middle school for 2 years before moving away. Although I never was in any of Pierce's classes, I do know how much Pierce had an impact on everyone in the rfh community. My one piece of advice for you right now is to turn to God and let him help you through this painful time in your life. He will help you in countless ways. Praying for your family.

I am an adolescent therapist. I heard about your dear child and like every mother, was heart sick. Every day, I work with suicidal teens. It's an epidemic. Dear Jarck Family,
I am so sorry for such a great loss! I have no idea the tremendous pain you're all going through, however, there is one God that for certain has Peter in His arms and at the same time will wipe every one of your tears.
God is the only one that can give you strength to get through this, and get up each morning and plan your day. Have faith, this day will come. Don't try to understand the reason for some things happening in life. Just thank God for the blessings that He has given you, the wonderful memories. I never met Peter, but I'm sure that he was a wonderful person to be with because only the good die young.
