AGE: 65 • Plainfield
Brenda S. Muhammad, 65, died Sat., May 18, 2013 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Westfield, she was a lifelong Plainfield resident. She was formerly employed with the Plainfield Board of Education as an executive secretary at Plainfield High School.
She was predeceased by her husband Yasin Muhammad. Surviving are 3 daughters Lisa Harper (Dolando), Anfal and Masha Allah Muhammad; 2 sons Brian Wynn (Sheila) and Ibrahim Muhammad, Sr.; 5 grandchildren Shrae Wynn, Bashira and Ibrahim Muhammad, Jr., Lauryn and Camryn Harper; a brother Donald Sumner; 3 sisters Barbara Miner-Brown, Cheryle Jones and Robin Sumner. Funeral Fri. 11am in Mount Olive Baptist Church, 216 Liberty St., Plainfield preceded by viewing at 10am. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Home, Plainfield. www.brownsfuneralhome.net.
