AGE: 95 • South Plainfield
Margaret Wesley Lee Richardson, 95, died Thurs. July 18, 2013 at home. Born in Oxford, NC, she lived in South Plainfield over 50 years.
She was the owner of Richardson's Beauty Shop in Plainfield for many years. She was a member of The Shiloh Baptist Church in Plainfield over 50 years where she formerly sang in the choir and was a member of cell group #8; Her other memberships include Club 13 and the Beautician's Guild.
She was predeceased by her husband Lesley Richardson in 1989 and a brother Odell Rogers and sister Annie Mae Rogers Anthony. Surviving are a daughter Rita Richardson; a son Roger Richardson; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three cousins Robert and Eddie Ellis and Cadessa Carrington.
Funeral Wed. 10 am in Shiloh Baptist Church, 515 West Fourth St., Plainfield preceded by viewing at 9 am. Interment, Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Home, Plainfield. www.brownsfuneralhome.net

Roger and Rita, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I remember as a kid my mother and sister would get their hair done at the shop. We use to come over to your house and visit. Roger u and I were good friends as kids. Your mom was at my moms funeral, and that was the last time I saw her. She was a very elegant lady. May she rest in peace with the angels.

To Roger n Rita my condolences to you in the passing of your mom. Your mom was my beautician when I was a young girl I remember always going to the shop on West Third St n living down the street from y'all on Willever Street. So sorry for your loss may she rest n peace.

To the family of Mrs.Richardson I was so shocked to learn about the death of Mrs. Richardson.As a young person growing up I used to live next door to the Richardson's.What a very nice family. I used to tell Mrs Richarson that when I got older I wanted to be a beautician and I would go to her shop and watch her work on her customer's hair.What a sweet and elegant woman.She will be sadly missed.RIP Mrs Richardson.
