Carl Butler Obituary
AGE: 50 • Loch Arbour
Dr. Carl Butler, 50, of Loch Arbour, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at home. He was born in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in Hawthorne and Simi Valley before moving to Loch Arbor 4 years ago. He was a physician and a graduate of Simi Valley High School, University of Maryland with a degree in chemistry and a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and an avid surfer since he was 15 years old. He loved to travel the world to surf.
Surviving are his children, Alec, twins Carlos and Risus, and Zoila Butler, all of Quantico, MD; his parents, Donald and Karen Butler of Carson City, Nevada; his fiancé, Lisa Molluso of Old Bridge; his brother, R. Paul and his wife Megan Butler of Washington, DC and the mother of his children, Karen Esteban.

To the Family and Loved Ones of Carl Butler, I am so sorry for your loss.
I knew Carl from the beach in Loch Arbour, he always with his surfboard and me with my dog. Certainly he was an avid surfer, being at the beach every morning, I can attest to that. No matter the weather, freezing cold, snow, rain, if there was surf, Carl was often there. Watching him catch waves was always enjoyable, he was a strong goofy foot who could walk the board with total ease. You could just tell how happy he was doing it. He also loved to play with my dog and would chase after Merv with his surfboard on top of his head, and Merv loved it. Many times over the past few years, in the summer, I would see Carl enjoying the surf and the beach with his family. I know he was a good father. To me he was a beautiful person, I will miss him, but never forget him
