Marcus was an awesome person to be friends with! He was very friendly, kind and funny! We never hung out with each other but we always had a good time where we worked at. I first took a liking to him when he mentioned that he liked the movie "Dune" (1984). (I forgot how the subject came up.) Since then we always talked about our love for cool genre films like horror and science fiction. We had a good time imitating Mr. T and John Wayne. Also we liked to discuss films we would love to make like really low budget movies using real life actors and actresses who were big at one time but haven't been seen much recently (at least not in mainstream films). When we talked we both laughed so hard that we had tears in our eyes! Now I have tears in my eyes but it's from sadness. There will always be an empty space in my life without Marcus. I would have loved to spend more time with him but now I will have to wait until I see him again in Heaven. He will always be my friend.

Marcus was a very funny person to be around. We may not have seen to see things eye to eye at times but he was a great person to work with. My wife Anne & I met his wife a few years ago when we were on the same cruise. We had the great fortune to see them again st the Sand's Event Center for a show. My wife and I offer our condolences to his wife and family. He will be truly missed by us at Sam's Club 6369.

Sending my condolences to Marcus' family. I've known Marcus for quite some time, but really never had the privilege of hanging out with him. We were both students of the same bass guitar teacher at a place called The Groove Academy with Jake the Bass Man Jones back in the early 2000's (2001-2002?) Marcus immediately came off as a very nice, and very humorous guy. Even though my time was brief with guitar lessons there, I'd occasionally run into Marcus through the years, and we'd talk for a bit about music, and performances and whatnot. He was a cool dude. Every time we crossed paths there were music suggestions exchanged, and some good laughs while wishing each other well. The last time I saw Marcus was at Sam's Club where he was working a few years ago, and like always it was good to see him. Rest easy man.

Marc could ALWAYS make me laugh but one of my favorite memories will always be when he tried to get me to beat box and I could NOT do it at all. It made HIM laugh so much. :) He will most certainly be missed. The world will never be the same.
