Aldo P. Innocenti

AGE: 97 • formerly of Woodbridge

Aldo P. Innocenti, formerly of Woodbridge, NJ, 97, born January 5, 1915 in Greenwich, Pennsylvania, died peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at home in Inverness, IL where he lived with his son, Roger and daughter-in-law, Linda for the past eight years.

Aldo was the loving husband of the late Elvira Innocenti and the beloved father of Jerry (the late Lynette) Innocenti, the late Linda (Martin) Brophy, Roger (Linda) Innocenti, and David (Kathy) Innocenti. He was the beloved grandfather to Jason Innocenti, Nessa Tallo, Matthew Brophy, James Brophy, Michelle Campbell, Leslie Bolanos, Joseph Innocenti, Rafaela Boun, Jeffrey Innocenti, Natalie Innocenti, Shawn Innocenti, Elise Innocenti, and Autumn Innocenti. He was also loved by his thirteen great grandchildren.

Aldo was an active participant in the Palatine Senior Center PTSCC Program where he spent many hours in laughter with his friends. He was a member of St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:30am from the Gerity and Chubenko Funeral Home, 411 Amboy Ave. (Rt. 35), Woodbridge followed by a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial from St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge with entombment to follow at St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at the funeral home. My condolences go to the Innocenti family. I volunteer at the senior center once a week and have fond memories of Aldo. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He brought joy and laughter to the group. He will be missed! May God bring your family peace during this time of loss.
