CAROLYN E. DE TURK
AGE: 57
NORTH BRUNSWICK
Carolyn E. DeTurk died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at The Pavilions at Forrestal Health and Rehab Center in Plainsboro. She was 57. Born in New Brunswick, she was a lifelong North Brunswick resident. She had worked as a computer processor for the North Brunswick Township Board of Education for over five years before retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of New Brunswick. She had been very active in coaching with the North Brunswick Little League.
She is predeceased by her parents, William "Flobie" and Kathryn Roth Toth and by a brother, William D. "Jimmy" Toth. Surviving are her husband Ralph E. DeTurk; two sons, Kyle DeTurk and his fiancée Laura Novak of East Windsor and Eric DeTurk of Springfield, Virginia; a sister Linda Fabricatore of Ocala, Florida; and two brothers, John R. "Bobby" Toth of Ocala, Florida and Michael Toth of North Brunswick.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The family would strongly prefer that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004; on the web at www.jdrf.org; or by phone (800) 533-CURE (2873).

Thank You all for posting you thoughts for my sister Carol. She was the wind beneath my wings. Never with any real complaints and if anyone should have she could. Dear Deturk and Toth Families,
Please accept my condolences. I grew up with Carol. We were very good friends. I lived on the next block and we always were inseparable. I'll never forget when she got one of the first Mustang convertibles that hit the streets and we always listened to music together, especially the Beatles.I knew the Toth family very well.
