John W. Gallucci

AGE: 64 • Old Bridge

John W. Gallucci, age 64, of Old Bridge passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Camden, he had resided in Old Bridge for the past 30 years. Before his retirement in 2007, he was employed as a Wage Collection Referee by the NJ Department of Labor in Trenton for 33 years. Mr. Gallucci was a Decorated US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War earning a bronze star and conduct medal and was a member of the Cape May VFW.

He is predeceased by his parents Dominick Daniel and Dorothy Bessie Gallucci. Surviving are his fianc? Mary Lukowicz, his brothers Dominick and Mark of Cliffwood, his sister Lorie of Philadelphia, PA, his nieces Tara Gallucci - Slotwinski and her husband Anthony, Laceylee Gallucci, his great niece and nephew Italia and Vincent Slotwinski and his extended family members, Mary Ann Midgette and her husband Matthew, Shane and Christina Mapps, Shane and Landon, Theresa and Harry Haushalter, Dolores Lukowicz, Thomas and Linda Lukowicz, Raymond and Debra Lukowicz, Gerard Lukowicz and Thomas and Ashley Lukowicz.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with Entombment to follow at Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 9am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's name to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.

On Friday, April 1, 2011, Jesus called our beloved brother John to be with him. He will be missed deeply by Nick and I. He was the only one there for Nick when he needed someone the most. This was John's way! He was such a good peson and loving brother to his family, John will be forever in our hearts and prayers.
