Marjorie Hollis, 77 a life long resident of Plainfield transitioned on February 17, 2016. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and confidant to many. A life long member of Mt Olive Baptist Church and one of the best southern cooks in Plainfield. Before retirement she was employed at Kings Daughter Daycare, in Plainfield for over 15 years. Predeceased by husband Joseph Hollis; Daughters Pamela Hollis and Joanne Hollis; Survived by Daughter Bridget Rivers Special Niece Deena Davenport Grand Children Dante Royster, Latice Royster , Nydiadra Rivers , Nyheim Rivers and Nyesha Rivers. Great Grand Children Kieonte Royster , Ny'Dajia Whitlock , Cazhmani Royster , Dante Royster Jr., Keion Royster , Khalyd Whitlock , Nahjai Royster, Rasjanae Craddock, Shamyr Royster, Azziyah Royster, Ki' Yae Royster , Nahaadi Royster , Rihana Royster, Abigail Dow and Saleem White. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Feb. 25, 2016 from 6-9pm and funeral on Fri. Feb. 26, 2016 at 11am at Mt. Olive Baptist, 216 Liberty St. Plainfield. During my last visit at Mount Olive I gave you my usual kiss on your soft spongy cheek and you told me that you loved me. I'll kiss that cheek again when we meet in the "Great By & By".
