STANLEY E. LEVASH
AGE: 74 HILLSBOROUGH
Stanley E. Levash, 74, died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at home with his family by his side. He was born in West Hazelton, Pa, the son of the late Stanley and Frances Levash. He was a resident of Hillsborough, NJ for the past 48 years. Mr. Levash served his Country in the United States Navy as a Medic. He worked as a machinist for the Johns-Manville Corporation in Manville, NJ for 28 years. He then worked in the shipping and receiving department at the National Starch Corporation in Bridgewater, NJ for 10 years before retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed sports. Mr. Levash was a devout Roman Catholic and was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. He was a family man who was loved and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was predeceased by a son William Kovalcik. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Alice Levash of Hillsborough, NJ, by his sons David Levash and his wife Jackie of North Brunswick, NJ and Mark Levash and his wife Gina of Edison, NJ, his daughter Judy Ippolito and her husband Carmen of Edison, NJ, a brother Tony Levash of Middlesex, NJ and a sister Dolores Matrician of Palmerton, Pa.. He is also survived by his six grandchildren Michelle, Kimberlee and Jason Levash, Billy and Joseph Ippolito and Timmy Duchlinski.
The viewing will be on Tuesday November 9, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512. The Funeral will be on Wednesday November 10, 2010 8:15 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home to be followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ. For additional information please visit our website at www.ketusky.com.

To all my aunts, uncles and cousins -- I have so many great memories of uncle Stan from our yearly picnics and weddings as I was growing up. He was always lots of fun and our get-togethers won't be same, he will be missed. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mary McGowan
