Timothy G. Colacci

AGE: 51 • Waretown

Timothy G. Colacci, age 51, of Branchburg and Waretown, passed away at his home in Branchburg on Monday, May 2, 2011. Tim was born in Somerville and had been raised in Middlesex, and had most recently lived in Branchburg and Waretown. He was a Sergeant with the New Jersey State Police, Somerville, and retiring in 2004 after 25 years of service. Tim loved to ride his Harley "Fatboy" and enjoyed his time on his boat.

He was predeceased by his son, Timothy "Timmy" J. Colacci, in 2005 and by his father William P. Colacci. Surviving are his Wife of 5 years, Carol, (nee Gardner), his son Matthew, of Clinton, NJ, his Mother Ann Colacci, of Manahawkin. Step sons Jesse Westlund, of Brick, Michael McLaughlin, of Sailorsburg, PA., Jason McLaughlin, of Glen Gardner, NJ, and Vern McLaughlin, of Whitehouse, NJ. He is also survived by his sister Kathy Swenor of Manahawkin, Patrick Colacci, of Middlesex, and Scot Colacci, of Forked River, and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Saturday May 7, 2011 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the Riggs Funeral Home, 130 Rt. 9 North, Forked River, NJ 08731. Entombment shall follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Waretown, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions to Compassionate Care Hospice, 200 Lanidex Plaza, Suite 2101, Parsippany, NJ 07054, in Tim's name would be appreciated.
