ALVIRLEEN SCOTT
AGE: 88 PLAINFIELD
Alvirleen Scott, 88, of Plainfield, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. She was born in Flint, Alabama. She was a former resident of Shelbyville, TN and a resident of Plainfield for 20 years. She was a member of "Church Mother" Triumphant Life Community Church in Trenton, NJ; a former member and "Church Mother" of Faith Tabernacle in Plainfield for 19 years.
She is survived by her sons, Bishop Herbert Bright and Eddie Scott, both of Plainfield; daughter, Michelle Haley (Kevin) of Nashville, TN; sister, Virgil Doddy of Chicago, IL; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27 at Rose of Sharon Community Church, 825 W. 7th St., Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the church. Arrangements by Judkins Colonial Home, Plainfield.
