STARK JR.
AGE: 67
NORTH PLAINFIELD
Alan Robert Stark Jr., 67, of No. Plainfield, NJ, passed away Monday, June 1, 2009. Born in April of 1942 in Norwich, Alan was the son of Alan and Norine Currie Stark Sr. On Oct. 19, 1974 in St. Joseph's Church in No. Plainfield, NJ he married Cecelia Monzione Stark who survives. While living in New Jersey Alan was employed by Public Service Electric and Gas Co. of Roseland, NJ from which he retired after 35 years of service.
Besides his wife Cecelia, Alan is survived by his mother Norine Button of Preston, his children, Elizabeth Burns of Raritan, NJ, Rebecca (Mark) Stanley of Guilford and Matthew A. Stark of No. Plainfield, NJ, his brothers, Terry (Anna) Stark of Oxford, Rick Stark of Norwich, Larry Button also of Norwich and Ron (Angelle) Button of Oklahoma. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Thomas Burns of Raritan, NJ, Seth and Shamyn Stanley of Guilford, 7 nieces and 3 nephews. Alan was predeceased by his father Alan Stark and a sister Shelley Cummings.
Funeral services for Alan were held on June 5, at 12:00 Noon in Norwich, NY.

My deepest condolences to Al's family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Al in Roseland. He was a good man who always seemed to be able to put a smile on your face. Al will be missed by his Union brothers & sisters too. On behalf of the UWUA local 601 Roseland Council and members, Peace be with you.
