Hey Bud,
There is not enough words or space to express all I want to say. You are sorely missed by all those that loved and knew you. You touched more people in life then you ever knew. I kept my promise and I and wait for you to keep yours. I will be waiting for the day when you come for me and we will be together again, this time forever. I love you with my entire heart and soul - Chris

Hey Pop,
Since it is impossible to sum up a lifetime of memories and thoughts in just a few simple words...all I will say here is 'Thank You.' Thank you, for everything you taught me, everything you ever did for me - even the things I didn't realize you had done had for me until I had children of my own and finally realized what being a father really meant. I won't forget that Pop, and I won't forget how you always tried your best to guide me in the right direction in life. Who I am today, has a lot to do with who you were, and I will never forget that. And I won't forget to continue passing that on to my children the best way I can. Be at peace Pop, and rest easy knowing I am not the only one who will always carry a part of you with them with every step they take in life. Also know I am doing my best to keep a smile on my face right now, despite the shadow over my heart... after all, would you expect anything different from the kid you called 'Smiley' for 44 years?

Uncle Bill,
The last time I saw you was when you danced with me at my wedding in 1985, I told you then how much I loved you and that we loved you as if you were born into our family(the Catons), not married into it, and how lucky I was to have you. My heart broke when several months later you were gone, now it is broken again, knowing that I will never see you again on this earth.
I know that all of the Catons feel the same way...we never stopped missing you.
Love,
Cindy

Words cannot express how shocked and saddened we were to learn of Bill's passing. He was such a kind and caring person to all those he worked with or came in contact with. He shared so much of his time, talent and treasure at St. Mary's NM, making sure everything in the school and parish was always at it's best. We wish to express our deepest sympathies to you Chris and to all the children and grandchildren as you mourn this sudden loss. We will keep all of you as well as Bill close to us in our thoughts and prayers. Most sincerely, Victoria and Bob Quinn

Bill, you were one of the nicest, kindest men I've ever met. I'll miss hearing you call me "kid". Thank you for welcoming me to your family with open arms and for loving me like one of your own. You are already terribly missed. We'll all be together again one day and I can't wait to hear you bicker with Jeff again. I love you Bill.

I have wonderful memories of all the times our families spent together when we were younger. Uncle Bill taught me how to swim in the ocean for the first time. Of course, he didn't tell me not to swallow the water!
He treated me like his own daughter (even yelled at me like I was his kid) and I am glad that I had him in my life.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
