AGE: 88 • Brielle

Clarence Kenney, Sr., 88, of Brielle passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011 in Care One at Jackson, NJ. He was born on June 25, 1922 to Ernest and Catherine Kenney. Clarence was an active member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Manasquan, NJ.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lucille; 2 sons, Raymond and Clarence Kenney, Jr.; 5 daughters, DiAnn, Dawn Alston (Darnell, Sr.), Geri, Mabel Reed and Kelly Owens (Clifford, Sr.); 5 brothers, Fred (Norma), Ernest, Alfred, Aubry (Sandy) and Melvin (Crystal); 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; special friends, Joe, Lyn Roppoli, Keith and Denise Collins; and a host of family and friends.

Visiting hours will be 9 am Friday, April 8 until the time of the funeral at 11 am at Shiloh Baptist Church, 44 Union Ave, Manasquan. James H. Hunt Funeral Home, Asbury Park, is in charge of arrangements.

I´m very sorry to hear of the passing of Clarence. He was a great mentor to me when I worked with him at McGreevy construction and a great man in general. I learned a lot from Clarence may he rest in peace
