Joseph Robert Debbs of Plymouth, MA passed away at home on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 with his beloved wife, Lynn Debbs, by his side. Bob has resided in Plymouth and Jupiter, FL for the past 7 years, and previously lived in Spring Lake, NJ for 24 years. Bob is survived by his son, Robert Debbs and his wife, Merrill of West Palm Beach, FL; daughters, Tyler Squire and her husband, Robert of Montpelier, VT, Melissa McDougald and her husband, Frank, of Kennebunkport, Maine, Hilary DiFeo and her husband, Sam, of Sea Girt, NJ; step-daughters, Hildi Arnold and husband, Eric, of Westwood, MA and Nell Blasdale and husband, Spencer, of Milton, MA, as well as a brother, Julius Debbs, Jr. of Marco Island, FL. He was the cherished grandfather of Kylie, Camden, Avery, Hadley, Mae, Frankie, Oakley, Olivia, Josephine, Evelyn, Millicent, and Henry. He was the son of the late Josephine Debbs and Julius Debbs, and brother of the late Janet Waldele.

Bob was born in Irvington, NJ on December 25, 1933 and spent most of his childhood in Maplewood, NJ, summering in Avon, NJ. He was a graduate of Carteret Preparatory High School and Brown University, where he served as president of Delta Kappa Epsilon during his senior year. Following his graduation from Brown in 1956, Bob served two years in the army and then went on to a career in business. He first worked at Hornblower Weeks, then spent sixteen years in institutional sales at Merrill Lynch in Manhattan. In 1984, he left to found his own Temporary Services company, Integro Resources, until he retired in 2001. During this time period he also served on the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce. Bob enjoyed spending much of his free time golfing at The Spring Lake Golf Club where he was a member for over forty years. He also belonged to Coral Beach Club in Bermuda and Jonathan's Landing Golf Club in Jupiter, FL. He loved to take walks on the Spring Lake boardwalk, tend to his roses in the garden, and attend NY Giants and Rangers games. After moving to MA, he naturally became a Patriots and Red Sox fan as well.

Visitation will be held at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, MA on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Christ Church Parish, 149 Court St., Plymouth with Reverend David Frederickson officiating.
