AGE: 92 • Toms River

Dorothy H. England, 92, of Toms River, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012. She attended Ocean County College and was an officer in the Sojourns club at the college. Dorothy was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Berkeley Twp., a member of the Holiday City West Women's Club, Berkeley Twp. and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bergenfield VFW. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Born in New York City, she lived in Bergenfield for over 30 years before moving to Toms River in 1982.

She was predeceased by her husband, William G., in 1989. Surviving is her son, William and his wife Cindy; 2 grandsons, Bryan and Brendan; a great-granddaughter, Claire; her brother, Fred Schierenbeck; and her sister, Lee Miller.

Visiting will be from 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 until a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. Burial will follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
