Rosario "Sonny" Restivo

AGE: 90 • Toms River & Myrtle Beach

Rosario "Sonny" Restivo died Friday, March 15, 2013 at home. He was 90.

Born in Jersey City, he resided in Guttenberg before settling in Toms River over 30 years ago.

Prior to retiring 30 years ago, he was a truck driver for Cossitt Motor Freight & White Rose, and was very proud to be a teamster. He and his wife, Theresa, also loved to travel.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Theresa this past October.

Surviving is his sister, Angela Welty of Brick, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12PM at St. Mary of the Lake RC Church, Lakewood. Entombment will immediately follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 7-9PM. For more information or to post a tribute online, please visit www.deliafuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Dear Santa, I hope you have been reunited with Mrs. Claus by now. Uncle Sonny, you will be forever remembered for all you have done and the great man you were, and the incredible influence you were in my life.
