Marvin Lebowitz Obituary
AGE: 86 • Monroe Twp.
Marvin Lebowitz, 86, of Monroe Township, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. He was born in Brooklyn New York and lived in Port Reading, NJ for 40 years before moving to Monroe Township. He was a founding member of the Carteret Jewish Community Center, Carteret, NJ.
He is survived by his beloved partner, Phyllis J. Epstein, his son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Arlene Lebowitz, and his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and John Blendowski , his loving grandchildren, Jenny Niederhoffer and her husband, Roy, Sara Joy Lebowitz and Jason Blendowski and his husband, Sal, his adored great-grandchildren, Eliana Rose Niederhoffer and Zachary Lev Niederhoffer.
Funeral services will be held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan NJ, on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 11AM. Family will be receiving friends between 10am-11am. Interment will follow at the Wellwood Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York. Shiva will be held at the family home Monday thru Friday. Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

Grandpa - you will forever remain an outstanding man, whom I will idolize forever. I will never forget the special times we spent. From peek-a-boo to the logistics of the theory of relativity, I will always recall how much of an expert you seemed to be at everything. I hope that one day I can be as much of an expert at anything as I always saw you to be. I miss you dearly and hope that you are happy and comfortable wherever you may roam.
