Peter Timpone Obituary
AGE: 87 • Toms River
Peter V. Timpone, 87 years old, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Brooklyn, NY where he resided before moving to Greenbriar Woodlands, Toms River. Peter drove for Canada Dry and was a member of Teamster Local 812. He was very active in the Greenbriar community, he was certified with the Emergency Management Team, a member of the Bowling Club, Men's Club, Camera Club and a former member of the Golf Club.
He was predeceased by his brother, Dominick Timpone. Surviving are his wife, Mary Timpone; his daughter, Julia Bayer and her husband Thomas; his sons, Joseph and his wife Angela, and Nicholas and his wife Lisa Lynn. Also surviving are his sister, Mary Lou Fraleigh; grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Peter Frank, Lauren, Peter, Michael; and great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Lucas, Caleb and Nova.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22 at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. A mass of Christian burial will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at St. Luke's R.C. Church; arrive at the funeral home 8:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 would be appreciated. www.silvertonmemorial.com

I lived down the street on Foster Ave and worked at Pepsi Cola with Pete. He was a terrific guy, liked and respected by all.
