Earl Carson

AGE: 89 • Franklin Park

Earl Carson, 89, of Franklin Park, NJ, died Tuesday morning in the Merwick Rehabilitation & Care Center, Plainsboro, NJ. Born in South River, Mr. Carson resided most of his life in Franklin Park. He worked for over 50 years as a Building Inspector until retiring in 1998. Besides spending his time with his family, Mr. Carson enjoyed gardening and feeding the deer that came up to his porch.

Son of the late Albert & Anna (Graver) Carson, he was also predeceased by his daughter, Lynn Mockovack and his beloved wife, Marilyn. Surviving are his sons, Earl Jr., Eddie & Billy Carson; his daughters, Debbie Sitlingers and Susan Carson, his 10 grandchildren and his fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4th at 11am in St. Augustine of Canterbury RC Church on Henderson Rd. in Kendall Park. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the church, before the Mass, from 10am to 11am. Arrangements are by the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick.
