Wow another year goes by without my favorite Receiver #72 Scotty Skarzynski. As time passes it doesn’t lessen the sadness I still feel in my heart.
Back in the day it was Scotty Skippy and me DrewskiWe hung out together,Skip was older so he had a car so that’s how we got around . Skip Hansen would pick up Scotty first then drive over a block to pick me up on school day mornings and oh my the memories of the great times we shared I will cherish them in my heart forever.
Continued blessings for strength and comfort to the families and all that knew and miss Scotty as we honor his passing.
John Kevin “Scotty” Skarzynski .Gone too soon.

Hearing the news of the passing of my favorite receiver Scotty Skarzynski saddens my heart. He was not only my favorite receiver but one of my best friends growing up in South River. We did so many things together growing up that it was a shame we didn't remain close and in touch with each other once Scotty headed to Penn St and me to Tulsa. However that is ok because I always kept in touch with him through others and was so proud but not surprised to hear of the career path he had chosen for himself in law enforcement. Proud of his commitment to serve and not surprised because Scotty always displayed a huge heart.Drewski( Scotty called me that)to Skarzynski... the best passing combo in SRHS Football History...My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to Scotty's wife Sandra and his family. Blessings to you all.Amen!Drew Pearson
