GALLIPOLIS — Vi Jeffers, 75, went home to be with our Lord and the love of her life, her husband of 50 years, Larry Jeffers, on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014. She passed away at her residence, Holzer Senior Care Center, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born March 20, 1939, to the late Clifford and Clara (Still) Kauff, of Middleport. She was also preceded in death by brothers Ernest and Carl Kauff.
She is survived by her and Larry's children, Candy, Carl, Rod, Penni and Misty; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters Dorothy, Sandy and Shirley; several nieces and nephews; and our family and friends at Holzer Senior Care Center. God bless you all!
Vi was a homemaker and she loved music, cooking, gardening, fishing, animals, and eating chocolates and catfish. But most of all she loved her family and friends. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
Vi and Larry were amazing people and extraordinary parents. They had a love for one another that was admired by all who knew them. They were soul mates. Together they were as one; now they are together as one for eternity.
There will be no services for Vi as Vi and Larry both selflessly joined the donor program at Ohio University many years ago.
We all need to remember that life is a precious gift and we should make every second count. Please don't take your life or anyone or anything for granted. God bless.
