Patrick E. Seaborn, 62, of Baylis, and formerly of Beardstown, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, in his home.

He was born Jan. 29, 1948, in Beardstown, the son of K.L. "Lefty" and Nina Bernice Orebaugh Seaborn. He married Lily Fearneyhough on July 5, 1985, in Bowling Green, Mo.

Surviving is his wife, Lily Seaborn of Baylis; two brothers, Phillip (wife, Elaine) Seaborn and Butch (wife, Patty) Seaborn, both of Baylis; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Phyllis Logsdon.

Pat graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1966 and then served in the U.S. Navy 1967-1971 serving on the USS Bon Homme Richard in Vietnam. He was a self-employed electrician. He owned and operated the Dirty Shame Saloon (1977-1986) and also owned and operated Seaborn Electric both in Beardstown. He was also employed with Logsdon River Construction in Beardstown from 1987 until 2005. He owned and assisted farming the 1830 Seaborn family farm in Pike County. Pat enjoyed being outdoors, boating, duck, quail and pheasant hunting, and fishing. He truly loved being at gatherings with his family and close friends.

To the Seaborn family. So sorry to hear of Pat's passing. Always remembered him with a smile on his face or laughing about something. Remember back all those years ago when 1 or all 3 of you boys would be with your Dad when he would come to do electrical work at Mom and Dad's when I was little. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

So sorry to hear of Pat's passing. When I think of Pat I think of laughter, laughing and cutting up. Grandma Stearns talked of Pat often, as does Mom with many happy memories. Thinking of you Lily, and all the family and praying for comfort and peace.
