James Harbin Obituary

James Roy "Grizz" Harbin, 56, of Arenzville, died Monday, June 22, 2015, at his home.

He was born March 23, 1959, in Beardstown, the son of Kenneth L. and Alice Zillion Harbin.

Jim is survived by one sister, Janet Harbin of Arenzville; one aunt, Joan Walters of Jacksonville; and two uncles, Gib Harbin of Arenzville, and Wendell Harbin of Beardstown.

Jim was employed by Huey Lumber of Arenzville for several years. He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Arenzville. Jim was a history buff and a member of the Mascouten Bay Long Rifle Shooting Club.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Arenzville, with burial at Arenzville North Cemetery. The family will meet friends following a 4:30 p.m. Wednesday prayer service, until 7 p.m. at the Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Condolences may be left to the family online at airsman-hires.com.
