Eloisa LaFuente Obituary

Eloisa LaFuente Funeral services for Eloisa LaFuente, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymundo Manriquez, pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. LaFuente died Sunday, July 30, 2006, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born Oct. 17, 1918, in Brady to Jose Flores and Maria Gloria Flores. She married Antonio LaFuente on Dec. 5, 1932, in Brady. He died Jan. 9, 2003. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include seven daughters, Carolina Soliz of Amarillo, Florinda Hayes and Celicilia Ortiz, both of Plainview, and Anita Rositas, Mary Martinez, Antonette Sosa and Frances Tovar, all of Austin; four sons, John LaFuente, Johnny LaFuente and Henry LaFuente, all of Plainview, and Lupe LaFuente of Austin; 48 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
