Carl Sicher

1937 - 2011

Mr. Carl Eugene Sicher, 73, died Sunday evening, January 30, 2011 at his home following an illness.
Born September 22, 1937 in Allentown, Pa., he was the son of the late Mrs. Helen Dankel Nonnemacher. Mr. Sicher served his country with courage and honor retiring from the United States Air Force with over 23 years of combined service. He also owned several retail tire businesses in Easton, Pa., and was the former owner of Magnolia Tire in Loris. Mr. Sicher was a loving husband and an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Campbell Sicher of the home; one son, David Sicher of Virginia; two daughters, Deborah Ference of Pa., and Karen Sicher of Mass.; three step daughters, Denise Timmerman and fiancé, Peter Bloom, of Memphis, Tenn., Jennifer Hatcher and husband, Mike, and Suzanne Papadimitriou and husband, Spyro, all of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Glenn Nonnemacher and wife, Mary, of Palm Harbor, Fla.; one sister, Linda Christman and husband, James, of Emmaus, Pa.; six step-grandchildren, Whitley Watson, Daniel and A. J. Hatcher, Justina Lattimer, Joshua and Kati Timmerman; and one great step-granddaughter, Callie Lattimer.
Mr. Sicher was predeceased by his mother; and one daughter Ardith Leraris.
Memorial services with military honors will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with visitation from noon until 2 p.m., prior to services.
