Evelyn Borner Obituary

Evelyn Julia Borner,age 98, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at National Health Care of Garden City.
Mrs. Borner was born in New York, N.Y., to the late Frederick and Margaret Dietz. She moved to Myrtle Beach from Ringwood, N.J. in 1978. Mrs. Borner was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Borner, Jr.
Mrs. Borner is survived by her daughter, Lynn B. Long of Myrtle Beach; granddaughter, Erica Kim Gainey of Charlotte, N.C.;great- granddaughter, Heather Marie Gainey of Charlotte, N.C.; grandson, Brett J. (Sharon) Long of Racine, Wis., great granddaughter, Amber Lynn Long of Racine, Wis., great-grandson, John William Long of Racine, Wis.; son, Bruce W. (Carol) Borner of Bardstown, Ky.; grandson, Todd (Tammy) Borner of Pemberville, Ohio; great-grandson, Kameron and Kaeleb Borner of Pemberville, Ohio; granddaughter, Amy Borner of Bowling Green, Ohio; great-daughters, Charleigh Borner of Bowling Green, Ohio, Jordyn Cortez of Bowling Green, Ohio.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach chapel, with Rev. Tom Woodle officiating. Burial will be held in White Plains, N.Y., at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Well Episcopal Church, 3074 DeVille St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 or Solaris Hospice, 124 B. Professional Park Dr., Conway, SC 29526.
