Ila Lee Platt, age 89, wife of the late Roger L. Platt, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017.
Mrs. Platt was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Laris and Essie Chestnut.
Surviving are two sons, Haywood L. Stocks (Lynn) of Rehoboth, Delaware and Roger Wayne Platt of California, one daughter, Patricia R. Mimms of Chesapeake, Virginia, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.

RIP. Yes we was friends with Ila for many many years and Jefferson place apt. My mom " Elise" lived on 1st floor with Ila & they was best friends & ms Betty Eaton is the only friend living in Jefferson place apt A27.. is Ms Betty Eaton apt #. She was 1st tenant along with Ila & a few other friends that has pasted & they all lived at Jefferson place apt & they always had a wonderful time together & use to go eat at K@W... & ms Betty 29 years the building was open & Jefferson place apt.. we loved your mom. Be blessed, we miss everyone that´s in heaven now

We all miss ila. Jefferson place apt. MS Betty Eaton is still a 27. Still living@ doing good at 94 yr old. Nov 11. She be 95 yr old this is Wanda( Elise daughter) mom loved ila@ was best friends, mom gone now also--- they use to cook@ eat@ I would stop by talk with all of the 1st floor. THEY all had a ball-- she lived a good life

sorry for your loss,..this is betty eaton upstairs at Jefferson apt, #27 ila and I moved in Jefferson apt about same time ( 20 years ago) always been dear friends and has shared tons of good memeories, and laughter, with elise rabon was ila best friend also with faye and masie and mary and cathy ,, we all loved each other and was all tighter and happy times been at Jefferson, elise rabon died nov 2015 and ila and betty has been depressed since the sudded death of elise ws apt #a-12 next to ila 16 years,,. be at peace,,
