Virginia Todd Obituary
Conway
Virginia Meredith Milligan Todd, 81, wife of the late John Heyward Todd, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 2, 2011 at Grand Strand Healthcare.
Mrs. Todd was born in Horry County, S.C., daughter of the late D. Frank Milligan and Minnie Shannon. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Todd was predeceased by a son-in-law, Randy Vereen; a sister, Estalene Stevens; and a special aunt, Bessie Shannon.
Surviving are four daughters, Joyce T. Hartley of Myrtle Beach, Shirley Sessions (Johnny) of Conway, Johnice V. McInerney (Frank) of Pawleys Island, and Judy Holland of Myrtle Beach; two sons, Mike Todd of Walterboro, and Steve Todd (Debbie) of Andrews; nine grandchildren, Lisa Fortschneider (Michael), David Todd, Dorie Todd, Duffie Todd (Ashley), Jonathan Vereen (Katie), Miranda Hutchinson (Chad), Jarred Holland (Rachael), Aaron Holland (Amber), and Seth Todd (Meredith); and ten great-grandchildren, Hillary, Ethan, Eli, Gavin, Eliza, Sadie, Hayden, Piper, Steel, Morgan.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with Rev. Mike Kinlaw officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
