Eugene Hamilton Obituary

Eugene Anthony Hamilton, 82, died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Grand Strand Health Care.
Mr. Hamilton was born on September 20, 1927 in Chicago, Ill. He grew up in Bronx, N.Y. and went to Cardinal Hayes and Manhattan College.
He was a veteran of World War II. He worked for Price Water House in Venezuela.
Mr. Hamilton moved back to the States and worked for Arthur Anderson in N.Y. and retired from the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. and moved to Murrells Inlet in 1995. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Burnedette O'Byrne, who died in 1984; and his friend, Lorraine Keil of Garden City.
He is survived by his son, Eugene Joseph Hamilton and wife Christine Ayers Cammeron of Annnaudale, Va. and many friends of the Elks Lodge in Murrells Inlet.
Mr. Hamilton will be remembered during the 4 p.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010 mass at St. Michael Catholic Church. A graveside service will be held in Barnesville, Md. at a later date.
