Lois Reese Obituary

Graveside services for Lois Jean Mathis Reese will be Friday, March 30, 2012, at 3:00 p.m., at Serenity Gardens Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Woodrow Bailey, III, officiating. Lois Jean Mathis was born May 23, 1933, to Laura Lee Jones and Ollie James Mathis, in Marlin, Texas. She attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Marlin. She married Joseph Barrie Reese and they had four children. She moved to Midland in 1962. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. To cherish her memories, she leaves four children, Sheila Reese Griffith (William), Joseph Reese, Jr., Deborah Reese, and Kenneth Reese, all of Midland, Texas; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; other relatives and many, many friends. Services are under the direction of Thomas Funeral Home.
