Jill was an amazing person and I am privileged that she was my aunt. With her 7 children and our 6, the Pekins and Walshes had SO many fun, noisy, active gatherings through all our years growing up. Meeting up for joint picnics at various parks, celebrating holidays and birthdays meant a lot of good food, energy, great conversations and laughter. I remember Balboa Park and Presidio Park in particular. I think of her as a person of vibrant energy, infectious humor and very positive...

Jill was such a fun, creative, energetic and witty woman. I grew up with her youngest daughter Sherrie who herself shines with these exact same qualities as her Mom. I have so many found memories from their big home on Chatsworth surrounded by the 7 Walsh kids and their Dad and Mom, Jack and Jill, everyone laughing and enjoying life. What a blessing for all of us neighborhood kids to have had a wonderful childhood growing up with the Walsh family.

Jack and Jill were two of my favorite people. If only she could have been mayor!

My thoughts are with you all. Your mom was wonderful.
