ABDOOL RAHIM
Passed peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2016. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Shiroon Rahim; daughter, Shanaz Rahim; brothers, sisters and their families. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m., followed by a service at 12 p.m., on Tuesday, November 22 at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904. Burial will follow at 1 p.m., at George Washington Cemetery, 9500 Riggs Road, Adelphi, MD 20783. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).

To say you were generous, kind, loving, and sweet would be an understatement. Anyone who met you, even for a brief minute, could describe you like that. You were always the perfect gentleman, a sharp dresser, and one of my favorite people to have conversations about history, politics and all the newsworthy gossip. You will be missed tremendously. Just know we will ALWAYS be there for Aunty Doll and Shanaz. <3

We are so sad about the passing of Abdool. We mainly knew him through his plumbing work for us. He always did the very best job but mainly was the sweetest, nicest, kindest man one could meet. He was always cheery and just a delight to be with. We loved his stories of growing up in Trinidad. We are sorry for the loss to his family.

My friends: Abby, Sharoon, Shanaz: I will sorely miss my good buddy Abby. He was the kindest person that I ever knew and would be there if you needed a hand.
