Adam Wils Obituary
Lansing
Formerly of St. Johns
Adam Lewis Wils was called to be with the Lord on October 13, 2015, at the age of 36. He will be remembered by his big smile, loud laugh, quick wit attitude and his big heart. Adam loved surrounding himself with his family and was always supporting his community with the Ruff Rider Club Family. He cherished the outdoors by his love for hunting, snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle.
Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Laureen Langvardt, Emma Jacqueline Morse and Bernard Wils; and uncle, Lann Langvardt. He will be greatly missed by his children, Dominic Wils and Taylor Wils; parents, Joe (Vickie) Wils, Jena(Keith) Leslie; sisters, Heather (Chris) Spitzley and Ashley (Ted) DeYoung; nephews, Liam Spitzley, Brantley DeYoung; stepsiblings, Julie Hartshorn, Jacob Gray, Nate Leslie, and Melissa Leslie; special friends, Hollie Berger, Destiny, Faith, Chris and RJ.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI . Family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the college fund of Dominic or Taylor Wils, Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI 48820. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. On line condolences may be shared with the family at www.grlansing.com

Adam and family it breaks my heart that I could not be there today I'm so sorry. Adam I love you man! I will never forget you cousin. Looking back at how much fun we had. We only got to hang every few years but boy did we ever make up for time lost. So many good memories and epic times. We were like kids when we got together haha. Miss you already. It's been a while since I last see yu. But that never changed the friendship we had, yu being one of the few that could turn a bad day around for anyone with a simple smile, laugh or joke. My heart is more than heavy in this time for yur family especially the kids. I'm definitely gonna miss the random phone calls for haircuts and great times that me & my family had with yu from the cook outs to the motorcycle rides & everything in between. Adam was a one of a kind guy that will be sorely missed. He was always a great friend, and i wish i had the opportunity to spend more time with him in the last few years. So hard to believe man. One of the first people accepting of me riding with them and Sam and everyone else when I first started riding. Then realizing we worked together when I got hired at android and you letting me ride your bike in your parking lot.. All the other times you helped me at work and just chit chatted at work and worked on my bike and truck at your house. Such a good, big heart. Makes me so unbelievably sad.
