Alice Talcott Bennet

I just read this obituary yesterday. Alice was the broker, who helped me to buy (1981) my house in Concord and sell (1996) it. We became friends, who would attend lectures and go to museum exhibits together. When I read old email correspondence, I realized how much I miss her. Here is part of a letter, which she wrote on April 3,2012: "...The sheets of blue and purple scilla, and many drifts of pink and white cherry and plum blossoms are current enchantments in the Arnold Arboretum." Alice was the coolest person I knew in the years I lived in Concord, MA. She was fun, inventive, intuitive and willing to do whatever it took to accomplish whatever needed to be done. I treasure her memory and will never forget her friendship and companionship during the time I was around Concord/Carlisle. Happy trails, Alice, you'll benefit whoever you're with, wherever you go.
