Not sure what to say?

Mrs Cortner was my favorite teacher ever -- so patient, supportive -- now I realize that whatever i thought was wrong w/ me is real learning issue -- I have so much more appreciation for her - a true blessing in my life Ellyn Bousman Lentz

I had the honor of meeting Miss Alice when she moved to the same Assisted Living as my mom. She was SO much fun and we adopted her to our family. My mom loved her and misses her every day. Celia Lankford, Martha's daughter

Mrs. Cortner was an awesome lady. She was one of only 2 high school teachers who I actually visited at home. She was a welcoming, lovely lady (and strict in the classroom - Clarksville Academy 1980). We respected her so much, all the guys in the class would stand when she entered the room! My sympathies to her family and friends.

The Lindsey ladies lived across the the street from my parents..wonderful ladies...we miss them too...so very sorry for your loss of another wonderful lady...on behalf of the Robison family please accept our deepest regrets and condolences...we are thinking of you.

I have a vivid memory of a pew full of Cortners every Sunday at First Presbyterian Church when I was growing up and Mrs. Cortner was one of a few teachers that I will never forget.
