We met Al when my husband Rick was at Travis. Al always had a joke for anyone needing a laugh. Even on campus at Solano he would take time to tell me a funny to help me make it through the trying times. Rick had MS and Al's jokes were needed. My thanks to Al and my prayers to you. Rick went to the Lord in 2011, I like to think he and Al are once again, "the life of the party" I'm so sad for you, Jean Barnett

Al was my best friend growing up in Kenmore, New York. We stayed close until Al's graduation from the University of Buffalo and his relocation to California. I deeply feel his loss and extend my sympathy to his family. From his old friend of 63 years, Dave Rote. Formerly of Kenmore and Buffalo, New York.

Good memories of Mr. Purdy watching a group of kids run about as a pack on Dahlia in FF. Sad to read of his passing, and please accept my condolences.

Romaine,
My heart goes out to you and your family in this shadowy hour of grief, and I send you my warmest thoughts and my sincerest prayers. May you always remember and treasure the wonderful memories you have of your husband, and may you find him again in all the dark and empty spaces of the universe, where he is waiting to greet you again, watching over you to keep you safe, and loving you forever as he always has and always will. May you find comfort and peace in knowing this as you...
