Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Duncan family. She had a long and lovely life filled with a remarkable family. May God bless each of you now and in the days to come.

I apologize for this entry being so late, but just learned of her passing yesterday. Sister Jewel was a precious lady to me. Each year, I received the most beautiful christmas card and she always took the time to write a nice long note telling me how all of her children and grandchildren were doing. I miss her so much already just knowing she is not there. My childhood memories growing up at Cedar Grove always make me think of her and Brother Clyde. Both so sweet and am so glad they are...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Janna, Dearl, Susan, DeeDee: I am saddened from your mother's passing. Clearly, she lived a productive full life. She lives on as she planned. She lives also within you as you constantly relive your memories. I am proud to have been a part of that life, even for a relatively short time. Peace and love, Gene.

Janna, Dearl, Susan, & Darlene,
I was so saddend to hear of Miss Jewels passing, but of course we know where she is. I have such fond memories of her and your Dad. Good times at Parkview, Houseparties, trips ETC. She will be missed. All of you are in my prayers.

Here we stand together,
Dressed in our pain.
We can't go back and relive our lives -
But we can go on from here.
Close your eyes
And let the pain slip away
Let go of the sadness;
It belongs to yesterday,
And let's walk.
You aren't walking alone.
And neither am I.

May your memories and your faith comfort you.

We live just across the Cedar Grove Church Rd. Jewel would come fishing in our pond. ( She had a lot of fun there ) One day at sundown, I heard her yell (boy did that scare me ) I went to see about her and she had caught a big fish. boy did we laugh and while I was standing there she caught another big one. They were about eight or ten pounds. I miss that as we got older. She will always be in my heart. I will see her in Heaven.
