Capt. You'll never be forgotten by the Births we all miss and love you I know you're watching over all us!love bigsam.

Dearest Hogan, You are always remembered for the many special ways you've touched us as children and as adults. Halloween was one of the best times going to your home for pictures, candy and money too. I'm glad you got to know my kids and they have fond memories of you as well. God Bless You Hogan. Always a friend in me, Love, Loretta

I wish I had know that Hogan had passed, I would have liked to show my respect and gratitude for him. It is hard to put into words what Hogan represented to me, my brother and my sister. Reading the guest book entries made me happy - other people besides myself sharing our feeling for this great man. I moved from the neighborhood but brought my children back to see Hogan at Halloween so that they could see for themselves what a great man he was. I feel so lucky that we have known someone...

I just found out about Hoagan passing, he will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Hogan was the kindest and generaus man I have ever met, he use to visit Riley's every day as he was a very close frien with Joe and Catharine.
Hogan never had a bad word to say about any one, he always said nice things aout all the kids in the neighborhood.
I am sure everyone who remebers Hogan will miss him dearly.
I am honored to have known him as he was a close family friend.

Patty Thraves [Pratt] and the Pratt Family

I just read the article in the Port Richmond Star about Hogan, I know along my family, we did not know Hogan had passed away. He was a great guy. He was such a big part of my sister in law's lives growing up. They are truly upset that they didn't get a chance to say goodbye. I did spend many hours myself talking with Hogan at soccer games or just seeing him around the neighborhood. I used to tease him and tell him all the coins he gave me and my children bought us our house!!! He was...

I remember Hogan from when I was a little girl. I have a whole jar of all the coins he ever gave me dollar coins susan b anthony's, half dollars you name it. He was the most giving person I have ever met in my life, and never once did he ever ask for anything in return. He was friends with my Grandpop Dapper..thats how I knew him so well..and from the neighborhood (we live around the corner from eachother)I remember on Halloween when I was a little girl he would let you go in his house and...

A heart filled with love for everyone, a joyful sense of humor, and an immeasurable generosity—these are gifts that Uncle Tony shared with all of us. I remember when I was a child, his taking me to the beach, the bowing alley, Gino’s hamburgers, Aunt Jean’s pool, the Mummer’s parade, and too many places to mention. He taught me how to drive. He showed us all how to live. He welcomed my wife into the family and moved her with his kindness and humanity. With great devotion, he cared for my...
