Eulogy/Tribute in Honor of My Grandmother Arline Sikorski

I am so happy, and grateful, that Arline Sikorski is my Grandmother.

I remember Grandma using an old wash board down in the basement to do laundry. I remember Grandma & Grandpa canning vegetables from his garden. I remember that Grandma only ever wore dresses, and made them herself, that she and Grandpa lived on very little money, and always did the most with everything they had.

I remember every holiday,...

My deepest sympathy to you all for your loss. I will always remember her especially since I'm named after her. I can't think of a better person to be named after. I also will always remember the three sisters getting together every night to play cards. I have many other fond memories of her, and she surly will be missed. May she rest in peace. Mary Jane and family, I was sorry to read of the loss of your mother. She sounds like she was a very amazing women. My sympathy and prayers to/for you all during this very difficult time. Sounds like you have many wonderful memories to help your spirits.

I want to thank all of you so much for your thoughts and prayers. We will miss our Mother dearly. My sisters, brothers, Father and myself were so blessed by the Lord by putting Mother Arline into our lives. Not only were we blessed by Doreen, our maternal mother, we were doubly blessed so much more by Arline coming into our lives when we needed her the most.. Just imagine for a moment... I can't help but think and smile a little, that some people must have thought she was a little bit quite...
