Arliss LOVEITT Obituary
passed away on May 12, 2017 in Tampa. She was born January 10, 1932 in Sycamore, IL to Orla and Lila Matteson.
She was married to Robert Walter Loveitt for 56 years. She was employed at Hawker-Beechcraft for 20 years until her retirement.
Arliss is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Ed) Hill of Champaign, IL; son, Robert Wayne (Tara) Loveitt of Tampa; her brother, Rob Matteson of Everitt, WA; her sister-in-law, Judy (Stan) Matteson Clark of Clinton, LA; stepsister, Jody Carter of La Crosse, WI; her grandchildren, Tony Zies of Janesville, WI, Michael Hill of Glen Burnie, MD, Jake (Libby) Hill, Stephanie Hill Alvarado, Eric Hill of Champaign, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Matteson; and her loving husband, Robert. Arliss' greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Christian Edward and Lauren Elizabeth Alvarado. A celebration of life will be held on May 27 from 2-5 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa. Interment will be at Sylvan Abbey in Clearwater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind.
