Shelly your dear father Art was an amazing kind sole that would do anything to help. He was a great grandfather to Edward and Eric Huntley and a loving, caring person. I remember when he and Carol would come by to visit and every time they would get ready to leave Ed would grab onto Art's leg and cry, not wanting him to go. And then when Eric was a toddler, he did the same thing. They couldn't wait for grandpa to come and sit on the floor with them or take them outside to play. He gave them one on one attention and always looked them in the eye to talk to them, or crawl around on the floor with them. Art may have been a little shy and quite but always made everyone around him feel special and loved.
He wasn't only a grandfather, he was a father to me when I moved from CA and had no other family. He made me feel loved in a world of chaos. But now I have another sister in Shelly. I only wish we would have spent more time with him.
From Eric, ”Grandpa was always there for me growing up. He came to all of my school events and I would look for him before each game and he'd wave. Then when I was older, Grandpa liked to take me to restaurants just to talk and catch up. He made me feel important and never asked or expected anything in return. I wish we could have spent more time together.” “I LOVE YOU GRANDPA”
From Edward, “Grandpa used to take me to the movies and we never missed the Karate Kid movies. When I got to stay overnight with grandpa, in the mornings when he was shaving he would always put a protector on the razor and let me shave too. I couldn't wait for him to start getting ready. He liked to take us to eat and have ice cream all the time. When we went to Florida for vacation, we were inseparable. Me and Eric would always compete for his time.” “We miss you already grandpa!”
To Shelly, Tony and Seven, You all have taken such great care of Art over the years of living together. It takes very special people with caring hearts to handle what you all have done. May God bless and give you some comfort in knowing he is in a much happier, easier, peaceful place now. With much respect and love, from Edward, Eric Huntley and Betty and Collin Druck, WE love you.

Art was my "brother"...the only brother I had. Dad took him under his wings and helped him become a man...A man with a purpose in life. I'll never forget the great times we had when he lived in our household and the many years after. RIP dear brother/friend. You will not be forgotten. Love LeAnn Darling Stephens
