Not sure what to say?

He was a great friend always smiling and making us laugh. Such a nice guy. I'm sure he is in a better place now.

"Life is a fragile thing

And it can change within an instant

Nothing is safe from the effects of change

No person or possession we're given

The only things we can hold forever

Are the memories in our hearts

The loves we share upon this earth

Before it comes our time to part

So choose a pathway that brings you joy

Take time for quiet moments each day

Appreciate the challenges...

Dad and Us <3

We'll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, you always gave us. You being there for us through good and bad times, no matter what. We'll always remember you Dad because they'll never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we will always
have for you. You will be truely missed!

Chato, my cousin - you were always there for us willing to help with whatever we needed when we moved to SJ. We had a lot of fun over the years - and then we saw the love and excitement in your eyes when you started your family!
You loved them and they love you! We will keep you in our prayers and we know your shining eyes will be upon us!

Big Art,my friend and loved one. all would say you were always there for me, I will miss our conversations, the good advice and not so good :-) you will always be remembered as a great Father! You are one of a kind, non judgmental, being who you are and not living for others is hard to do sometimes, but you did it. what a quality! I was so blessed to know a Man that no matter what always remained my friend and loved one. There will come a time soon when hurt will fade, but you will always...

May God Bless Art and his Family, my sincerest condolences. I played football w/ Art at Lincoln and enjoyed the fun and laughter he always brought to practices. So long my Friend. -Bob Alvarez jr., ALHS 1973

You are in our thoughts and prayers.
You will be greatly missed Uncle Chato!

Art and I were classmates through Hoover and Lincoln. We also played weekend tackle football, where I feel I got to know him best. I believe you can learn a lot about a guy's character when playing without coaches, referees, pads or rules. Art always maintained fine poise, fair play and humor. It was an honor and pleasure growing up with him. My highest regards to his family, and may you find peace in your time of sorrow.

My condolences to Art's family. I remember him as being a true gentlemen. He will be truly missed by his classmates from the class of 1973. Sincerely, Patti Cavallero Watkins.
