Not sure what to say?

I lived across the street. The Dickau family were wonderful neighbors. My very favorite memory of Barbara was when it was Prom time for my sister and me; Barbara threw open her collection of prom gowns for us to choose and borrow for the occasion. Fun-loving, generous and really sweet.

The Dickau family lived across the street from our family when we moved to Glastonbury in 1963. Barbara became a dear friend to my mother, Ellie Stinson and her son was a close friend to my brother Rob. They were great neighbors and a wonderful welcome to town. She will be dearly missed but the wonderful memories will endure. I am so sorry for your loss.

John, Robin and girls,

So sorry to see the passing of your mom/grandmother. Keep your fond memories close to your heart.

My condolences to the Dickau family. I grew up knowing Barbara through her friendship with my parents. She was a very kind and caring friend to my mother. When she gave me a gift for my newborn daughter Abigail she spelled her name on the gift card as "Abbie". My daughter's nickname has been Abbie without the "y" at the end of her name from that day on and I will always credit Barbara for thinking of the unique way to spell Abbie's name. Again, my condolences to your family at this...

So very sorry to hear about the sad loss of your mom. Wish you all well during this sad time.
God Bless

Deepest sympathies to you, Bob, and your whole family in the loss of your Mom. It's been a long time since our days at GHS, but the support of friends, old and new, always helps during difficult times. May she rest in peace.
