Belarindo Romano Obituary

ROMANO, BELARINDO "BEN", 90, passed away April 22nd at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Gloria L. (Beretta) Romano to whom he was married to for 62 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Clementina (Barnabei) Romano. Devoted father of Carol J. Clark, Bennie J. Romano, and Susan M. Romano and her fiancé Ronald Gelineau; grandfather of Walter A. Clark and Christopher J. Romano. He was the brother of the late Marino Romano. Mr. Romano served in the Navy during WWII. He retired from Davisville and enjoyed many cherished years with his family. Visitation Thursday 4-7 p.m. Funeral Friday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a committal service with military honors at 10:30 am at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. We miss those visit to Fort Lauderdale that Ben and Glo did to visit John. How he so enjoy those walk across the Las Olas Bridge to the beach.
