Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Ben's passing and am so very sorry. I did adore him so and life will not be the same for you and Shaina. I know that he is now, as he always did, keeping an eye on you both and taking care of you from heaven. We will see him again. Sending you my love, Melinda

Dear Brenda --- The ltime that I saw Ben was when he was my roomate at R.P.I. in 1955. Ben was a great guy to be around and was always a lot of fun. Even I haven't seen him in many years his memory lives on. We used to go out to dinner to s steakhouse in Richmond(I can't remember the name)almost every Sunday in Ben's '46 Olds. It was a real blast. He was a truly unique person and his memory will always be a Blessing.

When I worked as an usher at the Palace theater I would often buy a sandwich from the shop that where Ben worked.I was impressed by his compassion for others.

To Ben's Family
Farewell to a good man and NNHS classmate. I will also remember Ben from the store on Sunday mornings when the Presbyterians gathered between services.
Fondly, Perry Wornom Moore

Sorry to get the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I miss him so much, I am so sorry that I was not able to attend, my thoughts are with you. I love you

I knew Ben and his mother and father when I grew up in Newport News. He was a couple years older than me, but he was a really friendly and nice guy. His parents ran the sandwich shop attached to the Palace Theatre on 32nd and Washington Ave. They were related to the Gordon family that owned the Palace, Wyth, and Village theatres in those days. Rest in Peace, Ben.

My condolences to the family. I am sorry to read of your loss. May the Almighty God (Psalm 83:18) comfort you during this difficult time.

To family and friends, my deepest sympathy. May the God of all comfort, 2cor.1:7, give you the strength to cope
during this time of distress.
