Ben McGee, III was born on December 8, 1965 in Jackson, MS to Claudine Nichols McGee and Ben McGee, Jr. He was the oldest born of three children to that union.
Ben graduated from White Hall High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He attended Jackson State University.
Ben enjoyed playing basketball and scored 38 points in his final high school basketball game. He also played football at Jackson State University (Defensive Tackle).
Ben enjoyed everything about the computer and was programming at the Master Degree Level as a ninth grader, but reading was his absolute passion.
Ben was preceded in death by his father, Ben McGee, Jr.
Ben leaves to cherish his memories his mother Claudine McGee, a brother Brian Christopher McGee (Sharon Lynn Amons-McGee), a sister Dr. Angela Denise McGee- Boothe (Evon Dwight Boothe). Two nephews: Jonathan Dwight Boothe and Ryan Anthony Boothe, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
