Beta Saul Watson Beta Saul Watson, 77, of Austin, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Beta was born on February 8, 1930 in Austin, Texas to Gee and Elvie Olivia Thurman Saul. She married Floyd Wayne Watson, Sr. on March 21, 1947 and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and sister. Beta was a longtime member of Bethel Assembly of God Church where she played the piano and ministered to the needs of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters, Alpha Saul, RB Saul, RV Foster, and Ruth Scheumack. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Floyd Wayne Watson, Sr.; children, Sue Ruston and husband, Lonnie, Wayne Watson and wife, Paula, and Deana Parker and husband, John, Jr.; grandchildren, Janet Wilson and husband, Chris, James Ruston and wife, Gloria, Clinton Watson and wife, Josephine, Thomas Watson and wife, Sandy, Stephen Watson and wife, Lindsey, John Parker, III, and Lana Shryack and husband, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Grace Wilson, Owen Wilson, Chase Ruston, Ashlynn Ruston, Annjeanette Watson, Meridith Watson, Brandon Watson, Amanda Watson, and David Shryack; sisters, Mary Blackmon and Sue Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2007 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Reverend Stephen Watson and Pastor Clyde R. Poldrack officiating. Interment to follow services at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
