BETTY DARLENE MACNAUGHTON Betty Darlene MacNaughton, 88, passed away March 5, 2018. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, in the Marion, KS, Cemetery. Betty was a homemaker and craftswoman. Born to Joseph and Vesta McIntosh, she was the youngest of 3 children. She was born and raised in Canton, KS, and then attended the University of Wichita, graduating summa cum laude with a major in zoology and chemistry. She also trained in medical technology at the University of Kansas and married her college sweetheart, Dr. Robert A. MacNaughton. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and in her free time, she enjoyed crafting porcelain dolls and figurines, quilting, embroidery, and gardening. Her husband Robert and brother Bill McIntosh preceded her in death. She is survived by brother Eugene McIntosh; 3 children, Dr. Robert MacNaughton II, Paula Wiley, and Julie MacNaughton, as well as six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
